After watching this movie it inspired me to create this website to help others find abundance in their lives. It's extremely motivational and inspiring resource to help you jump start your life of abundance. I found many of the topics covered to be true and sound principles that have been written about in many books thoughout the ages. It's based on a very simple principle: "The Law of Attraction". If you watch the online movie you will want to buy the DVD.

The http://thesecret.tv/secret-treasures.html treasures page has some great freebies too! Inspirational quotes and free videos.

Please post your comments about your experience with The Secret Movie / Website.
Thank you!

The happiest man in the world?
Written by Administrator

" ... and you can learn how he does it, says academic-turned-Buddhist monk.

To scientists, he is the world's happiest man. His level of mind control is astonishing and the upbeat impulses in his brain are off the scale.

Now Matthieu Ricard, 60, a French academic-turned-Buddhist monk, is to share his secrets to make the world a happier place. The trick, he reckons, is to put some effort into it. In essence, happiness is a "skill" to be learned.

His advice could not be more timely as tomorrow Britain will reach what, according to a scientific formula, is the most miserable day of the year. Tattered new year resolutions, the faded buzz of Christmas, debt, a lack of motivation and the winter weather conspire to create a peak of misery and gloom.

But studies have shown that the mind can rise above it all to increase almost everyone's happiness. Mr Ricard, who is the French interpreter for Tibet's spiritual leader, the Dalai Lama, took part in trials to show that brain training in the form of meditation can cause an overwhelming change in levels of happiness.... What it takes to be great
Written by Administrator

" Research now shows that the lack of natural talent is irrelevant to great success. The secret? Painful and demanding practice and hard work (Fortune Magazine) -- What makes Tiger Woods great? What made Berkshire Hathaway (Charts) Chairman Warren Buffett the world's premier investor? We think we know: Each was a natural who came into the world with a gift for doing exactly what he ended up doing. As Buffett told Fortune not long ago, he was "wired at birth to allocate capital." It's a one-in-a-million thing. You've got it - or you don't.

Well, folks, it's not so simple. For one thing, you do not possess a natural gift for a certain job, because targeted natural gifts don't exist. (Sorry, Warren.) You are not a born CEO or investor or chess grandmaster. You will achieve greatness only through an enormous amount of hard work over many years. And not just any hard work, but work of a particular type that's demanding and painful. Buffett, for instance, is famed for his discipline and the hours he spends studying financial statements of potential investment targets. The good news is that your lack of a natural gift is irrelevant - talent has little or nothing to do with greatness. You can make yourself into any number of things, and you can even make yourself great.

Scientific experts are producing remarkably consistent findings across a wide array of fields. Understand that talent doesn't mean intelligence, motivation or personality traits. It's an innate ability to do some specific activity especially well. British-based researchers Michael J. Howe, Jane W. Davidson and John A. Sluboda conclude in an extensive study, "The evidence we have surveyed ... does not support the [notion that] excelling is a consequence of possessing innate gifts." "

RichDad.com's Creating a Life Plan
Written by Administrator
Monday, 15 January 2007 16:00
" Step 1 - Write a Plan for Lifetime Financial Security What does security mean to you? The absence of stress and worry? Few, if any, sleepless nights? Determine exactly what you need to do to achieve your vision of security. If you've decided that your first priority is to be rich, this step may seem mechanical and boring - even unnecessary. Because when you plan for security, you're planning for a world of 'not enough.' One of the goals of this step is to motivate you to reach beyond a goal that might limit your potential.

Step 2: Write a Plan for Lifetime Comfort What does comfort mean to you? A big house and two cars? A house, a vacation cottage and three cars? Obviously, this plan will be a little more aggressive than the first one. And it will be less boring because when you plan for a world of 'enough,' there are more choices open to you. Your challenge will be to choose.

Step 3: Write a Financial Plan for Becoming Rich This will be your most aggressive plan – and the most exciting. For, now, you are anticipating a world of 'more than enough.' You'll be faced with a myriad of choices, for opportunities to make money are all around you. As with the previous plan, your challenge will be coping with the abundance of possibilities. You don't want to wander through life like a kid in a candy store, so distracted by choices that you can never make one.

Think this plan through carefully and thoroughly. This exercise illuminates the fact that you have choices – more than you've ever imagined and that you need to make decisions about those choices. Too many people go from job to job or business to business without getting where they want to be financially. They wander through life without a plan and all the while their most precious asset 'time' is fleeting. This doesn't have to happen to you. "
